Requires a power outlet with a Nema 5-20 type socket for 20 amp dedicated circuit. Note that a Nema 5-20 to Nema 5-15 power adapter is included for use in standard 15A power outlets. The Control °Freak™ induction cooking system is the first of its kind to accurately measure, set and hold up to 397 cooking temperatures from 30° to 250°C (86° to 482°F). The unique real-time sensing system uses a through-glass sensor to directly measure surface temperature. Probe controlTM remote thermistor probe function lets you precisely control the temperature of both water and fat-based liquids. The Intensity function gives incredible control over the heat up speed to the set temperature. A Create function stores frequently used custom temperature profiles (°C/°F and power) for simple one-touch recall. Complete with external probe, probe pot clip, USB flash drive to store programs and travel case.
